I am writing in regards to Tourettes syndrome. I know there are lot of TS sufferers out there. A lot do not come out and just live in their isolated worlds.  I have a child with Tourettes and I know what it is like to watch a TS sufferer. 
  What I don’t understand is that there isn’t new medicines just for Tourettes.  All the ones out there are still for other conditions and used for TS sufferers but they can cause more harm and side effects than without. 
  I have read that this condition shows origination from way back to the man who studied it centuries ago. I guess I don’t understand why there isn’t anymore advancement for the syndrome.
    Going into some bodies brain and implanting something you would think with our technology today that would be something that could be done differently.
  I have to wonder if there really is anyone working on this disorder at all I see where money is always asked for donations but I still haven’t heard of any group of scientist have been working on it.
    Does anyone know if there is any or is the disorder still on the back shelf somewhere and not out there yet enough. I would sure like to talk with others out there and hear how they live day to day and what they know.
